Hello Pragma,

Does Pragma FortressSSH Server support Windows Server 2008 R2 Failover Clustering for high-availability considerations? Also, are there any connector licenses required from Microsoft for your product?

Thank you.

Yes, Pragma Fortress SSH Server does support Windows 2008 Server R2 Failover Clustering.

Pragma Fortress SSH is the only SSH server product with Microsoft's "Certified for Windows Server 2008 R2" certification. It means the product passed the rigorous feature, performance and stability tests of Certified for Windows Server 2008 R2 and also passed its clustering tests. Although Fortress SSH does not  call cluster APIs directly, Fortress SSH works well in the Windows Server 2008 R2 Cluster environment as it is a base requirement for "Certified for Windows Server 2008 R2" test suites performed by a third party independent lab (Veritest) approved by Microsoft.

As for requiring connector licenses, no connector or CAL license is required from Microsoft for Pragma Fortress SSH server or ClientSuite product. Hope this answers your questions.

Thank you.
