I am running Pragma FortressSSH Enterprise Version 5.0 on Windows Server 2008.
I have a generic question about Local FortressSSH Configurations for SFTP users. If no entry is entered for an SFTP user's home directory and the setting to "Restict user to home directory" is set, will this action effectively disable the SFTP user's account?

If no entry is entered for an SFTP user's home directory field, then the SFTP user's account will NOT be disabled. The setting will default to that user's "user profile" directory (c:\users\user_account) and when user makes an sftp connection, s\he will be restricted to that user profile directory.
If you need to disable sftp access, then de-select the sftp option under Local Server Configuration > Access Control. If you need to grant sftp access to certain user accounts, then add those user accounts under Local Server Configuration > SFTP Users and select the "Only Allow Configured Users Access to SFTP" option.
Thank you,
