Hi Pragma Systems,

Is it possible for an administrator to view ssh sessions using the session manager program? When I was using Pragma TelnetServer product, I could view connected telnet sessions using Session Manager. Wondering whether or not encrypted ssh sessions can be viewed as well.

Thanks.

Yes, you can view ssh sessions via the Session Manager program by logging on using an administrator account. This is a new feature that has been added to Pragma FortressSSH Server version 5.0, build 9, revision 1715.

To read the release notes for revision 1715, click here.
To download revision 1715 of Pragma FortressSSH Server, click here.

Please note that with our TelnetServer, previously you could only view and log off sessions. Now, you can also take control of an ssh (and telnet) session allowing you / administrator greater control.

To view an ssh session, launch Pragma Session Manager from Windows Start Menu > Pragma Server Management. Connect to the Windows Server running the latest release of Pragma FortressSSH server. Select an ssh session that you would like to view, right click and select the "view session" option. Hope this helps.

Thank you,
