SSH server config question/ideas

We are having a possible problem with our SSH server.  We haveclients that use Toad or Crystal IX software to connect through the SSH serverto access an Oracle server.  Their sessions hang, and Toad tells theclient that the connection drops and then reconnects.  This seems to becausing the application (Toad or Crystal) to hang.  Is there a specificsetting within the SSH server configuration that could make a connection through the SSH server drop?

Hello,

If you are asking if we have an option to force a session to close, we have a feature that will close the session after a configured idle period. This is the Idle Session Timeout under the Users main page of the Local Server Configuration program. We do not have a feature that can detect a hang in any application running within the session.

You can also check the Windows Event Viewer under Windows Applications and Services Logs -> Pragma Fortress SSH Server for any error events that might be caused by the server that would give the appearance of a hung session.
