Hello,
Older versions of our software used the Microsoft Crypto API, but our FIPS compliant products use our own crypto library, required for our own FIPS certificate. The MS Crypto API is not exposed to any user from our application. It is used as internal part of our program.

If so, then with our GUI clients, you would choose the certificate on the Authentication page on the Site Manager dialog. Using the CLI clients, you enter the certificate hash value as a parameter, -oCertHash=hashvalue.
