Group: Forum Members Posts: 1, Visits: 6	Hi All we are running PragmaTelnetSever V7 on windows server 2012 R2 Standard, When looing in the windows event logs I'm seeing loads of these warnings Remote Address xxx:xxx:xxx:xxx: Receive from client failure. Error 10053: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine. end users have reported that its taking a long time to get a response and on their terminal it shows " waiting on Host " Which is a Unix box. Is the error something to be concerned with ? Tags telnetd64;pragma

Group: Administrators Posts: 81, Visits: 180	Hello, This error means that there is another program on the server that is forcing the socket to close, dropping the connection. Please check your system for any programs that monitor network traffic. Some virus scanning programs might also cause the connection to drop. Exclude our program files directory from virus scanning.
