Hello,
Thank you for posting your question on our forum.
In order to make sure that the processes launched by a telnet session close when the telnet session itself exits, enable (select) the "monitor child processes" feature located under "Local TelnetServer Configuration > Users > Default User or your configured user".
To clean up an orphaned telnet session that stays on after the console application that the telnet session launched exits, use the "Server to Client Heartbeat" (located under "Local TelnetServer Configuration > Users > Default User or your configured user > Handheld"), setting its time interval with a preferred value upon which time the Telnet Server will send a signal to the session and will close the session if the TelnetServer does not receive a reply back from the session.
Hope this helps.
Thank you,
