I have seen on this forum the following comment:

The "required privilege error" is occurs due to running the Pragma InetD service with an account other than the Local System account. Pragma InetD service MUST run using the Local System account.

Is this still the case? And if so why are we able to change this in the configuration tool?

Thanks.

Hello,

Our configuration program allows you to change the subsystems of the InetD Service, such as the Fortress service, our Session Manager service or any custom service.

The error "Required privilege is not help by the client" is caused when the permissions are changed for the InetD Service itself under the operating system. Due to changes in Windows service requirements our Pragma InetD Service must remain "run as LocalSystem".
