I'm trying to pull the info from my old Pragma test server to my new Pragma test server using Enterprise Push Configuration.
I started the app and clicked the 'pull from server' button, typed in my source server name and clicked 'OK'. The hourglass stayed for around 5 - 10 seconds and then the message box appeared 'Configuration successfully loaded from ddc-rf2'.
None of the users and configuration items are copied over. Is there a reason it won't import? The old server is Windows 2003 and the Pragma version is Version:  7.0 Build 2 Revision 147.

Hello,

When you pull from a server, it loads the settings into the Enterprise Push Configuration settings dialog. You should see the pulled settings in the tree frame.  With your version, you might have to close the window then reopen to refresh the tree.

To copy the settings to the local server, you will need to do the Push step.
  • Click the Add button
  • Type "localhost" as the host name
  • Select "localhost" in the server list
  • Click Push Configuration
This will push the configuration to the local server.

Hi Beth,

I had forgotten that it's a 2 step process, first extract the data using pull and then push.

Thanks, Steve
