Hi,

Great,  Thank you for the information.  I have set the Timeout for the Default user and will monitor it.

Regards

Hello,

You can fix this problem by enabling the Idle Session Timeout for the Default user. This setting is used to close any sessions that remain idle during the logon process, before a user configuration can be identified.

Hi,  I was hoping someone could help.

We are getting a lot of occurrences where Telnet sessions seem to be either not disconnecting/connecting correctly and they are being left active in Pragma Session Manager. They show in the username column as Logon in progress.

It gets too the point where we have so many occurrences of this that it stops users from logging onto the RF terminals.  We have to restart the InetD service and then log each session out manually.  Some sessions can show elapsed times of over 500 hours if the situation is not monitored.

Has anyone else come across this issue before? I have checked all the usual settings like Idle Session Timeout, Server to client heartbeat and checked Monitor Child Processes.

Thanks in advance.

Simon
