I am currently experiencing a problem at one of our customers and wondered if anyone has experience the same issue?

The problem at hand relates to the generation and print of aCrystal Report using a program launched via the Shell Startup Program in thePragma Telnet Users configuration.

What is happening, is the startup program is launchedsuccessfully, and functions fine, up until the .exe process in question needsto produce and print a Crystal Report that resides locally on the server.  When thefirst logged on user attempts to print, the print works successfully, andprints successfully for all subsequent prints for this user only.

All users that subsequently log onto scanners via the Pragma TelnetServer cannot produce any Crystal Reports documentation.

Have you seen anything like this before regarding CrystalReports?  The engine version on the server in question is CR10, and it isrunning on Windows Server 2008 Standard.  The version of the Pragma TelnetServer is Version 7.0 Build 9 Revision 2696.

Hello Chris,

Are you having issues with thecreation or the printing of the reports? If it is the creation, then it mighthave something to do with user context within the application, such as it isdesigned for a single user, but multiple users are trying to generate thereports. If you are having issues with the printing, it might be a similarissue. If all users are logging in  with the same user ID, then printingcannot be distinguished between sessions. For printing to operate correctly, each user must logon with a unique username.
